The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) National Youth Organiser, Salam Mustapha, stated that the Party needs unity more than anything else as it approaches the 2024 elections.

He asserted that the Party will win the 2024 elections with a landslide triumph if it presented a united front.

In Sunyani, the Regional Youth Wing of the Party hosted an orientation programme for the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON), and Salam Mustapha delivered a speech as part of the event.

Executives from the National, Regional, and Constituency parties as well as members of the youth wing, TESCON, and several party supporters from other parts of the region participated.

In order for future generations to know that a significant accomplishment was made in Ghana’s political history during their time, Mustapha advised the Party members not to be disappointed about items they had not been able to get from the Party but rather to try to leave a legacy by “breaking the eight.”

The most crucial thing right now was for the Party to declare victory in the approaching elections, he said, so if they kept cooperating, everyone would receive their just rewards.

The NPP’s director of external affairs, Nana Asafo-Adjei Ayeh, reminded the young of their obligation to support the Party’s victory in the upcoming election.

According to him, there is a great deal of responsibility on the NPP youth wing going into the 2024 election because the wing has a long history of winning elections whenever it was active.

In order to help the Party break the eight, Nana Ayeh asked TESCON members to reevaluate their roles within the organisation by taking the time to learn about its successes and activities and spreading the word to the public.

Paul Apraku Twum-Barimah, the representative for Dormaa East, urged the young to put in a lot of effort since the Party would depend on them to carry out the mandate in 2024.
