As part of the project, CANSINO is seeking an Accounting and Budget Technician to perform the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Accounting responsibilities:
- Maintain a complete set of financial record for the project using QuickBooks, including project specific purchases, payroll and operation costs
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, issue invoices, receipts
- Report financial status to Project Manager periodically
- Provide financial reports and forecasts for funding applications and reports
- Manage private investments and shareholder loans according to agreements
- Manage petty cash
Budget responsibilities:
- Manage the overall project budget
- Collaborate with Project Manager to plan the itemized project budget and ensure the budget is strictly enforced
- Based on project funding availability and under the supervision of the Project Manager, adjust project budget from time to time
- Based on historical spending trends, forecast future budget needs
- Other tasks may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
