Education: Strong Linux administration experience (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL)

Your role at Exness:

You will join our Infrastructure team, which serves as the entry point for all trading activities related to infrastructure. As part of the team, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements and creating the technical design for future trading infrastructure. You will work closely with various team members to troubleshoot problems, identify solutions and assess situations in real time.

You will:

  • Plan maintenance of computing trading infrastructure storage systems and storage networks running in different geo-distributed data centers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and virtual trading infrastructure issues.
  • Participate in all aspects of technical research, planning, and documentation for assigned projects and issues.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability.
  • Monitor capacity and performance of storage and virtualization systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Communicate with vendors and other IT teams to resolve issues.
  • Understand data protection and disaster recovery technologies in a multi-site environment.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
  • Create automation for recurring tasks.
  • Support other teams in troubleshooting performance and stability issues.
  • Participate in the development of infrastructure solutions to ensure reliability and scalability.

What makes you a great fit:

  • More than 3 years of experience in IT systems development or administration
  • Experience with vCenter and VMware ESXi, including maintaining the complete VMware lifecycle, such as patching, troubleshooting, upgrades, and migrations
  • Solid technical background in a hosted services environment
  • Strong understanding of storage technologies and experience with storage capacity planning and maintenance
  • Experience in troubleshooting systems with vendors
  • Experience with fiber channel networks based on Brocade equipment
  • Experience with data backup, archive, and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam, EMC Data Domain, or others

Nice to have:

  • Strong Linux administration experience (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL)
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Grafana, or others
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS and Google Cloud
  • Experience with scripting skills such as shell scripts, Ruby, or Python
  • Experience with DELL EMC, Lenovo equipment
