Your role at Exness:
You will join our Core Infrastructure team and focus on managing Linux hosts and software on Linux.
You will:
- Support and maintain patch-management procedures and automation, work with collaboration with security engineers
- Provide L2-L3 support for business applications such as Jira, Confluence, Gitlab
- Manage virtual and hardware Linux servers (RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu) across on-premises and cloud infrastructures in a 24×7 environment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Support open-source software on Linux, DNS, LDAP, SSO, email, security, monitoring, and other related components.
- Oversee website publishing infrastructure, including load balancers, cloud providers, CDNs, and WAF.
- Implement automation wherever possible, using Ansible and HashiCorp Terraform for development.
- Support other teams in troubleshooting performance and stability issues related to Linux servers and infrastructure software.
- Participate in the development of infrastructure solutions to ensure reliability and scalability.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Linux operating systems, RedHat, and open-source software such as Docker, HAProxy, Nginx, Bind9, Postfix, or FreeIPA
- Strong hands-on experience in developing Ansible scripts
- Familiarity with website technologies, including load balancers, CDNs, WAF, CloudFlare, and SSL certificate management
- Experience with IaaS cloud providers such as AWS, GoogleCloud, and AliCloud
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf, InfluxDB, and Graylog
- Understanding of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) technologies
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
- Team player attitude with a willingness to support, teach, and learn from other team members
- Strong attention to detail and passion for your work
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions within your own and adjacent areas
- At least an intermediate level of spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- LPIC or RedHat certifications
- Familiarity with Keycloak SSO and HashiCorp products such as Consul and Vault
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes
