Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must be proficient with the English Language
Education: Formal qualification, e.g. Level 3 HGV Mechanic Certification
Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant working experience.
- Well-versed in all engineering aspects of HGV’s.
- Wider experience on other vehicles/trailers.
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
- Valid UK driving license/International driving license: If needed, conversion assistance will be given.
- Highly motivated.
- Keen and conscientious.
- Strong team player.
Note that, International applicants will need to meet requirements set out by the UK Home Office for the Skilled Worker Visa including providing proof of English language capabilities.
The Role:
- Carry out preventative maintenance inspections, diagnostic checks, servicing, and repair.
- Troubleshoot where necessary and rectify all issues.
- Collaborate with the transport manager to schedule inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Oversee and guide other team members as required.
