Ohemaa Ofosua Aduanwomah Amoakoa Oseiadeyo Ahoufe, the Ahennanahemaa of Kwahu Ahinase, is appealing to the general public for support in building a Crises Resources Centre for the community. In an interview with the media, she revealed that the groundbreaking for the project would take place as part of activities to commemorate her one-year installation as the Ahennanahemaa on August 12, 2023.

The Crises Resources Centre will include a first aid clinic, Pre School, shop, warehouse, and a donation centre to promote the socio-economic development of the community members who are mostly farmers. Ohemaa Ahoufe noted that the community lacked many basic social amenities, but with the construction of the centre, the community’s livelihood will improve.

For the most part, the Ahennanahemaa is adopting a “Promoting Villages to Cities Campaign” to bridge the gap between villages and cities in the community. The campaign has already seen the construction of a place of convenience to reduce open defecation in the community. She appealed to Kwahu residents both home and diaspora to assist in building the Crises Centre.

Ohemaa Ahoufe also called on investors to come to the area and acquire land for Agribusiness. The area has fertile land for growing all kinds of crops, and it is a serene place for investors to develop for tourism and hospitality purposes. She believes that the establishment of the Crises Resources Centre and the influx of investors will help to uplift the community’s socio-economic development.

As part of the activities to commemorate her one-year installation, a durbar and fundraising will be held to canvass for more resources for the Crises Resources Centre. An education fund will also be launched to promote access to quality education. Before the durbar, there will be a health walk and screening for community members.

In a nutshell, the Ahennanahemaa of Kwahu Ahinase is committed to improving the living conditions of her people. She is calling on all Ghanaians to support her initiative and contribute to building the Crises Resources Centre. She believes that with collective effort, the community will experience significant growth and development.
