According to the PPP, “Ghana needs an independent voice in parliament to speak for Ghanaians, and Hon. Kwaku Duah is the only credible, competent, and an excellent leader to represent the Kumawu people in Parliament starting in 2020.”

Therefore, the PPP advised all “on the day of the by-election, eligible voters and party members in Kumawu were urged to ignore all forms of coercion, threats, and manipulation and turn out in large numbers to cast their votes for Mr. Duah, who was “number 3 on the ballot.”

Furthermore, it urged Kumawu residents to utilise the by-election “to send the right message to the nation by voting for change” in order to improve the condition of the constituency.
