Caring for the Vulnerable Donates to Two Children’s Homes in Northern Ghana

In a kind gesture to support vulnerable children in Ghana, Caring for the Vulnerable, an NGO, has donated assorted items to two children’s homes in the Northern Region of Ghana. The Anfaani Children’s Home in Tamale and the Nazareth Home for God’s Children in Sang, Mion District were the beneficiaries of the donations.

During a visit to the facilities, Mr Nasiru Gariba, Deputy Director of Caring for the Vulnerable, presented the items which included food products, baby clothes, toys, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. He expressed the organization’s commitment to support vulnerable children in Ghana and pledged to continue identifying and supporting them across the country.

The Nazareth Home for God’s Children received four cartons of assorted drinks, four rolls of toiletries, a gallon of parazone, a bag of baby clothes and a pack of baby diapers. Meanwhile, the Anfaani Children’s Home received six packs of baby wipes, one gallon of parazone, a bucket of omo washing powder, a bag of baby clothes and toys.

The Manager of Nazareth Home for God’s Children, Reverend Sister Stan Terese Mario Mumuni, expressed her gratitude to Caring for the Vulnerable, saying, “It will go a long way to inspire and comfort the children.” She also highlighted the challenges facing the facility, including water shortage, learning materials, feeding, and medical bills for some of the children. She appealed to the government and other benevolent organizations to come to their aid.

Mr Abdul Rahman Lamin, Manager of Anfaani Children’s Home, also expressed appreciation for the donations, stating, “This donation has come at the right time because the Home at the moment badly needs these items to thrive.”

In conclusion, the donations made by Caring for the Vulnerable have brought joy and comfort to vulnerable children in the Northern Region of Ghana. It is hoped that other organizations and individuals will follow suit and support these children’s homes in their noble quest to provide a better life for children in need.
