We are Praying for a Bawumia-Napo ticket in the Jubilee House in 2025 – Council of Zongo Chiefs

The Council of Zongo Chiefs of Ghana said they are praying passionately for Flagbearer of the New patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh to be sworn-in as President and Vice President respectively on 7th January, 2025

The zongo chiefs also prayed for Dr. Bawumia to choose Energy Minister and MP for Manhyia South as his running mate for the upcoming elections during a Special Quran Recitation & Prayers to Allah for the New Patriotic Party’s victory in the 2024 general elections on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Kantudu behind the Kumasi Central Mosque after Magrib prayers. According to the chiefs, Dr. Prempeh was Dr. Bawumia’s finest partner in taking Ghana to the next level beginning in 2025.

Speaking on behalf of the prayer congregation following the Quran recitation, Alhaji Musah, Chief of Frafra and President of the Council of Zongo Chiefs, stated that they were praying for Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Prempeh because they had the spiritual qualities to bring Ghana to the next level. “It is our wish that Dr. Bawumia be sworn in as President come January 7, 2025, with Dr. NAPO as Vice President. Alhaji Musah stated, “I know that our toil tonight in this recitation will not be in vain.”

He continued “We pray that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s best choice for the running mate will be our own brother, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh. May Allah not let our toil be in vain”

The Zongo chiefs also stated their hope and faith in Allah that, as they have prayed, God will answer via Dr. Bawumia to appoint Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh his running partner in order to fulfill Allah’s plan for Ghana.
