It is time for change, he said, from public employees who put in only a few hours per week to private sector workers who disregarded their civic duties to young people who wish to advance among their peers not based on talent but rather on “connection.” According to Joseph Ghartey, enough is enough.

Joseph Ghartey claimed that significant sums of money were given and received without question from religious organizations, political parties, and politicians. According to Joseph Ghartey, enough is enough. He finished by noting that we should anticipate the same outcomes if we carry out the same actions in the same way. He was ready to provide the leadership as the time was right for a total turnaround. If chosen as president, Joe Ghartey promised to be honest with the public, take the tough choices, and lead Ghana with a vision that will advance the country.

As Attorney General, Joe Ghartey launched Justice for All, which has significantly decreased the number of remand detainees in our jails from 33% in 2007 to 9% now.

As railway minister, he put in a lot of effort and had a clear vision that led, among other things, to the creation of a Railways University.

The current Speaker, Rt Hon Bagbin, who was Minority Leader at the time, regarded him as forceful in his capacity as Deputy Speaker.

As President, Joe Ghartey promised to lead with firmness and fairness but also ensuring that our nation is kinder and gentler.
