North West, 10, hilariously gives ‘honest’ review of mum Kim Kardashian’s makeup line
Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West, showcased her sassy side while humorously reviewing products from Kim’s newly launched Skkn by Kim makeup line.
In a TikTok video shared by Kim, North, dressed in a vintage T-shirt, black leggings, and a pink bonnet, declared her intention to provide an “honest” review.
“What my daughter does on my phone ha ha ha ha ha ha,” she captioned the post, as per Page Six.
“This is a really nice black, the first one,” the 10-year-old said as she swatched the different eyeshadow colours on her arm.
“They’re really neutral. I like it, like, to go out. Like, dinner. This is classic Kim. This is what she would wear all the time. Never like, too bright colours but neutral.”
The products included matte lipsticks, matte lip liners, and an eyeshadow palette.North demonstrated the black eyeshadow application over her eyelids during the review.
“It feels really nice. I’m not trying to do this good but you’ll get it,” she said.
North West completed her makeup look by adding a brown lip liner and nude lipstick. Kim Kardashian, North’s mother, recently shared a TikTok video of North hilariously reviewing products from Kim’s Skkn by Kim makeup line. This follows Kardashian’s revelation that she regretted allowing North to wear a particular beauty product when she was younger.
“I look back and there’s times when I remember I let my daughter [North] wear a red lip once for Christmas. Would I do that now? Probably not,” she told Bustle Friday.
Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West, who share four children, had differing views on allowing their daughters to wear makeup. In 2019, Kardashian mentioned that Kanye had initially banned North from wearing cosmetics.
“He changed all the rules. I’d let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I’d let her wear a red lip, or I’d let her do one pop of something,” she said at the time.
“I’d let her, if she’s wearing a black dress, a black lip. I kind of got in trouble for that, so it’s now no more makeup.”
