It is believed that a 46-year-old Indian national who lived in Sehwi Bekwai-Low Cost, a neighborhood inside the Bibiani Anhweaso Bekwai municipality of the Western North Region, committed himself.

Murni Dan, the dead, was a borehole driller who lived in the region.

The deceased had confided in his coworkers about his personal struggles a few months prior, according to Joseph Asare, a neighbor of the victim who corroborated the claim to Adom News.

Murni Dan had informed his coworkers that his Indian-born wife had threatened to get a divorce from him because of his protracted absence and irregular communication. The deceased’s attempts to reconcile with his wife appeared to have failed despite his best efforts to maintain the marriage.

The deceased apparently turned to drugs and booze for comfort and thought of killing himself.

Prior to his dead body being discovered hanging in his room, the residents said they only felt it was a threat.

Following notification of the terrible occurrence, officials from the Bekwai police station reached the spot and removed the corpse.

After that, the corpse was sent to the Anhweaso morgue for additional examination.
