Ten Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) may be fired as a result of several complaints made against them during their employment, according to a report that asaaseradio.com said. The report is presently being reviewed by the presidency.

According to the source, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo intends to implement the required adjustments in the final 12 months of his tenure, concentrating on crucial sectors where public trust has declined. This includes the possibility of these dismissals.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Atebubu Amantin, Edward Owusu, is reportedly leading the charge on the possible terminations.

The article further stated that the DCE’s supposed anti-people actions and polarizing leadership style had created a huge backlash in the Atebubu District of the Bono East Region, despite his allegiance to President Akufo-Addo.

The president allegedly ordered Edward Owusu to be fired immediately after looking into the accusations; Owusu was apparently called to the Jubilee House.

Nine more MMDCEs are anticipated to do the same, according to the article.

Samuel Oduro Frimpong, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ejisu Municipality, is another chief executive who was named.

Oduro Frimpong was accused of being disengaged from his supporters, inattentive to the municipality’s issues, and unable to interact with stakeholders.

Amansie Central District Chief Executive Michael Donkor is suspected of engaging in illegal mining (galamsey) and not living in the district.

The study also hinted that the residents are no longer friendly with the DCE as a result of its actions.

Ahafo Ano South East area Chief Executive Thomas Opoku Ansah is facing allegations that he lives outside the area, does his job with indifference, and engages in galamsey.

This has made the district assembly members even less satisfied.

Gmasombe Jerome Sene East’s DCE, Kofi Gyimah, is alleged to have created a divided district and an unpopular administration due to his leadership style.

It is said that Comfort Asante, the Municipal Chief Executive of New Juaben North, is weak, uninitiated in the community, and incapable of carrying out the demanding duties of the position.

The Ga West Municipality’s MCE, Clement Nii Wilkinson Lamptey, is charged with operating a “one-man show” and refusing to hear important local social players, which makes the administration unpopular.

In Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah, the MCE for Nzema East Municipality, is accused of being haughty and conceited toward residents, technocrats, and traditional leaders, as well as of having family involved in galamsey.

The Upper West Akim District’s DCE, Eugene Sackey, is charged with being aloof from the community and neglecting to work with important authorities to carry out government initiatives.

Twifo Lower Hemang Denkyira’s DCE, Emmanuel Kojo Nanah, has come under fire for his incompetent leadership, handing the district’s operations over to the presiding member and harming the government’s reputation.

In the upcoming days, the presidency is anticipated to make judgments about these possible dismissals, which will have an impact on the impacted MMDCEs and possible successors.
