The Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency has seen three out of four Parliamentary aspirants appear before the vetting committee ahead of the primaries. The vetting of Dr. Duffuor Junior was described as very smooth and successful. He appealed to the delegates to give him the nod to contest the constituency primaries, stating that his decision to contest was in response to the constituents’ call for years due to his contribution to the party in the area.

Overall, Dr. Duffuor Junior’s clearance to contest the NDC Parliamentary Primaries is seen as a positive development, as the Sekyere Afram Plains Constituency looks to elect a new parliamentary candidate. The upcoming primaries are expected to be hotly contested, with both candidates keen on winning and directing development to the area.
