At 58, Twain’s new hairdo left some fans in awe, calling it “gorgeous”, while others were surprised by her almost unrecognizable transformation.

“She doesn’t look like herself anymore,” one complained, while another wrote: “This isn’t Shania.”

Shania Twain, a prominent figure in the music industry, recently surprised fans with a dramatic new hairstyle, as seen in a photo from the Grammys just one week ago. Known for her versatility, Twain has been experimenting with various wigs and costumes during her performances and appearances in recent years.

Rising to fame in the 1990s with chart-topping hits like “From This Moment On” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman,” Twain’s album “Come On Over” sold over 40 million copies globally.

However, after her 2002 release “Up!”, Twain took a lengthy hiatus from releasing new music, partly due to her highly publicized divorce from her collaborator and husband, Robert John “Mutt” Lange. Their marital split in 2008, triggered by Lange’s affair with Twain’s best friend, Marie-Anne Thiebaud, led to a period of personal turmoil for Twain, including a profound depression.

“I am dying, and I can’t take it any more. This is killing me. Have mercy,” she wrote.

In her 2011 memoir “From This Moment On,” Shania Twain revealed the devastating impact of her husband’s affair, describing how she struggled to eat and sleep and felt hopeless.

The affair was revealed to Twain by her best friend’s husband, Frederic, who had discovered evidence of the infidelity. Both devastated by their spouses’ betrayal, Twain and Frederic found comfort in each other and eventually began a relationship.

In 2011, three years after learning about their partners’ affair, Twain married Frederic, without inviting her ex-husband, Mutt, and his mistress, Marie-Anne, to the wedding. Additionally, Twain faced health challenges after the divorce, being diagnosed with dysphonia, a vocal cord disorder that affected her ability to speak and sing, further delaying her return to the music industry.
