NPP urges Ghanaians to embrace oneness and selflessness during Eid celebrations

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on all Ghanaians to uphold the spirit of service, oneness, selflessness, and sacrifice during Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations. Muslims in Ghana and across the globe have successfully completed one month of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued by the party’s General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP congratulated all Muslims on the successful completion of their fasting and supplication to Almighty Allah. He emphasized the importance of the culture of alms-giving, acceleration of all forms of good deeds, and the observance of special congregational prayers.

Mr Frimpong urged Ghanaians, regardless of their faith, to be guided at all times by the spirit of service, oneness, selflessness, and sacrifice in their pursuit of growth and development. He emphasized that Eid-ul-Fitr is an occasion for all to renew their commitment to building a better Ghana, where all citizens can live in peace, prosperity, and harmony.

The NPP called on all Ghanaians to use the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to pray for Ghana’s leaders, government, and the nation to overcome all the ills plaguing society, including the current socio-economic challenges, and to put the country on the path of sustained growth and prosperity.

“All in all, the NPP congratulates all Muslims in Ghana and across the world on the successful completion of their fasting and supplication to Almighty Allah. We urge all Ghanaians to use this occasion to renew our commitment to building a better Ghana, where all citizens can live in peace, prosperity, and harmony,” the statement said.
