The administration of Koforidua Technical University has warned students to concentrate on their academics and not to succumb to sexual pressures from lecturers and other school employees in exchange for marks. This warning is primarily directed at first-year students.

Students were advised to use all available channels to report anyone who violated their sexuality while they were enrolled in the school in order to receive prompt and punitive redress from the school administration, who have vowed their unwavering support for the pursuit of justice for any victim of sexual harassment.

At the 28th matriculation of the university, Vice Chancellor of the Koforidua Technical University Professor David Kofi Essumang addressed the professors, parents, and students and promised to purge any bad nuts.

“Everyone in this room has his or her own rights; never yield to coercion for either money or grades. That is prohibited. If you experience such issues, locate my office and let me know right away. We need to get rid of everyone who is a terrible nut.

Professor David Kofi Assumang further urged the government and the ministry of education to help the institution finish all unfinished projects in order to help the university overcome its ongoing housing challenges.
