Voice of KNUST posted a video of the event on Twitter after having it recorded. The student could be seen in the video dangling helplessly from the building’s edge and preparing to end his or her life.

However, his quick-witted coworkers came to his help and showed incredible bravery by being able to seize him just in time to avert the dreadful conclusion.

In addition to imploring everyone to say “no” to suicide and emphasizing the value of every life, the caption that accompanied the movie highlighted the significance of tackling suicide and mental health concerns.

Although the student’s life was saved, the circumstances surrounding his failed suicide attempt are still unknown. According to a suicide note purportedly written by the student, his continuing despair had caused him to think that death was the only way to get rid of the suffering he was going through.
