Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, an aspiring presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has concluded his four-day campaign tour of the Northern Region. During his visit, he engaged with regional, constituency, and branch executives of the party in all 18 constituencies in the region.
Dr. Duffuor met with Yaa Naa Abubakari Mahama II, the Overlord of Dabgon, and promised the party faithful that his leadership would ensure the party works closely with the government to strengthen the grassroots of the party in a more sustainable way. He also pledged to consult with constituency and branch executives when making appointments if elected as the leader of the party and the president of the Republic in 2025.
According to sources, the Former Governor and Finance Minister’s visit was well received by the party faithful, who expressed their support for his candidacy.
Dr. Duffuor has already begun his four-day tour of the North East and Savannah regions of Ghana, where he is expected to engage with the party faithful and other stakeholders.
The NDC presidential candidate is committed to promoting sustainable development and creating more opportunities for Ghanaians. His campaign promises include job creation, improving education, healthcare, infrastructure, and agriculture, among others.
