He willingly joined in the singing and dancing during the 31st Night services he attended, and he also provided encouraging New Year words to Ghanaians.

Dr. Bawumia was spotted dancing as he entered the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) in Kokomlemle, Accra, with the leader of the Church of Pentecost, Ghana, Apostle Eric Nyamekye.

The vice president and his crew, dressed entirely in white, were joyfully dancing to ‘We Shall Sing Hosanna’ while waving their white handkerchiefs.

Samira Bawumia, the Second Lady, who was also with her husband, was spotted dancing to thank God for the gift of 2024.

In his New Year’s speech to the PIWC, Dr. Bawumia encouraged Ghanaians to zealously guard the country’s democracy as it enters an election year.

He advised all players in the 2024 general election to seek redress via the courts rather than resorting to violence.
