The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Sen. Kennedy Agyapong, a prospective presidential contender, has urged party members to continue believing in him so that he might win the 2024 elections.
As part of his tour to the Central Region, he stopped by the Ajumako Enyan Essiam constituency and gave this statement.
He claims that despite being much undervalued, David from the Bible was able to battle a titan like Goliath.
The politician asserts that a major threat to Ghana’s democracy is unemployment.
He vowed to increase employment so that young people would have greater chances.
He asserted that many of the kids are unable to find girls with whom to develop relationships because of unemployment.
Youth unemployment in Ghana is a serious issue; many of them have graduated from college yet are jobless. Unfortunately, you don’t have any girlfriends because you don’t have any employment. You should acquire a job to do, save money, get married, and start a family as a young person whose parents spent money on your schooling.
This is not the case, though. Graduates from universities still possess their patents. The youth’s future is bright if you vote for me. I’ll influence how the youth develops. We require more, more, and more jobs.
He has promised to defeat former president John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 presidential election in the meantime.
He has urged delegates to support him in the primary in order to achieve that goal.
He also criticised those who said he wasn’t running for president, asserting that he was still the NPP’s greatest chance to defeat the NDC.
