Aidan Kearney is a blogger behind the Massachusetts news brand Turtleboy. The blogger was arrested on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 on the charges brought by a special prosecutor over actions taken in his intense campaign to uncover alleged corruption in an ongoing blockbuster murder case in Norfolk County.

Aidan Kearney who is very prominent in the Massachusetts’ news scene, has been reporting on the Karen Read case.

How everything started 

Karen Read is a 42 year old Massachusetts woman who has been accused of second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe. The heinous murder occurred on January 29, 2022, in Canton, Massachusetts.

Prosecutors believe that Read hit her boyfriend with her car, killing him instantly during a snowstorm. The body of O’Keefe’ body was later found in a pile of snow outside the home of Brian Albert, a fellow officer who hosted a gathering there that night.

Why Was Turtleboy Aidan Kearney Arrested?

According to media reports, Turtleboy blogger Aidan Kearney was arrested on charges of intimidating a witness, juror, police or court official and conspiracy. The blogger was arraigned before Stoughton District Court on Wednesday.

Aidan Kearney believes that Karen Read is innocent and he has allegedly intimidated anyone who has a keen interest in her prosecution. He was ordered by the judge to stay away from people who he was accused of intimidating.
