Why Saudi lawyer wants Ronaldo to be deported from Saudi Arabia

After Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly made an offensive gesture during a recent match against Al Hilal, a Saudi lawyer has campaigned for his removal from the country.

This occurred on Tuesday in Riyadh when supporters taunted him by calling out Lionel Messi’s name, forcing him to act as though he was grasping his crotch.

If this behavior is shown to be unlawful, the former Real Madrid star may suffer severe consequences. Ronaldo was accused of “a crime of public indecency” by attorney Nouf bin Ahmed, who filed a complaint with the Saudi prosecutor’s office demanding his arrest and deportation.

“It is considered a crime of public dishonor, and it is one of the crimes that entail arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner,” said the lawyer specializing in International Law.

The event has received extensive publicity on “Action ya Dawri,” the most watched sports program in Saudi Arabia.

Mohamed al Anzi, a show employee, reportedly said that the Portugal star made the gesture because he had been struck during the game, according to Al Nassr sources.

Other Saudi sports writers, on the other hand, weren’t convinced and encouraged the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to void Ronaldo’s contract.
