Who Owns Pick n Pay?
Pick n Pay was founded by Raymond Ackerman in the year 1967 in Cape Town, South Africa. Raymond Ackerman purchased the already existing small chain of supermarkets from Jack Goldin that year and went on to develop them into South Africa’s largest supermarket group known as Pick n Pay Group. Raymond Ackerman is still the chairperson of the group.
