Bruce Somers’ marriage to Suzanne Somers lasted for just three years. According to reports, Suzanne Somers was pursuing a modelling career and allegedly started a romantic fling with her dramatic coach. That brought an end to the relationship between Bruce Somers and Suzanne Somers.
Suzanne Somers blamed herself for the failure of her first marriage. Speaking to the Tampa Bay Times in 1992, she revealed,
“Getting pregnant and getting a divorce a year later only contributed to my low self-esteem and my need for constant crises. Back then I was lying, manipulating, hiding… I blamed myself for everything.”
