Wendy Shay’s management company, RuffTown Records, has spoken out about the weekend vehicle accident she was involved in.
The ‘Uber Driver’ singer was involved in a collision on Accra’s Kwabenya road on the evening of Saturday, September 8, 2023.
In a news clip, Wendy’s Jeep Wrangler was shown with a wrecked front end and the license plate SHAY 21-19. A tipper truck hauling sand crashed with her automobile.
Wendy Shay had been complaining of a bad headache at the time of the event, according to a live description of the occurrence on UTV’s “United Showbiz” by the station’s deputy news editor, Prince Obimpeh, who just happened to be there.
She was then driven to a medical facility.
Wendy is currently responding to therapy, according to a press release signed by Ricky Nana Agyeman (Bullet), the CEO of RuffTown Records.
“According to latest medical reports, Wendy Shay is in a stable condition and is expected to make full recovery,” he wrote.
Additionally, Bullet has urged everyone to pray for Wendy.
This comes after the musician emphasized the necessity for artists to be spiritually strengthened if they wish to advance in their professions a few days prior.
