The VRCC’s commitment and dedication to providing excellent supervisory and technical backstopping services to MMDAs and other stakeholders towards sustained growth and development of the region was also highlighted. The citation further congratulated the VRCC for its outstanding performance in promoting tourism and agriculture, which has resulted in sustained local economic development across the region.

Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister, who received the citation, expressed his gratitude to the Local Government Service for the recognition. He attributed the feat to the effective contribution, hard work, and commitment of the staff and dedicated the honour to the staff and people of the region.

For the most part, the VRCC’s performance can be attributed to its exceptional leadership and team cohesion displayed by the staff during the assessment process. This recognition should serve as motivation for the VRCC to continue championing the development of the region and transforming the lives of the people. The Municipal and District Assemblies in the region should also strive to deliver quality and better services to the people at all times to ensure sustained growth and development in the region.
