Kofi Koranteng, an independent candidate for president, said Ghanaians would choose badly in the 2024 election if they choose either the NDC or the NPP, which is now in power.
In his view, if the people were to remove the NPP from office, former President John Dramani Mahama could not be the way ahead since he was a non-performer.
“If in voting the NPP government out of power we do not find a functional person, we are only creating a vacuum to be occupied by the likes of John Mahama and the NDC.
“John Mahama was a non-performer. He was an abysmal performer at best who did not know what he was doing,” he said.
Kofi Koranteng asserts that because both the NPP and the NDC have the same goals and objectives, neither party can help Ghana.
He noted that choosing John Mahama of the NDC over Bawumia or any candidate by the NPP would be likened to “signing a death warrant.”
“Their track record shows that they are not an option for Ghana. If you leave the frying pan to jump into the fire, you fry still,” he stated.
He goes on to say that, if elected, former President Mahama and his ideas will only push society backward.
“From legalizing Okada to selling poultry, is that the future you are leading Ghanaians into? When Dubai has installed air-conditioning systems outdoors and in the streets?” he quizzed.
Entrepreneur Mr. Koranteng originally announced in December 2019 that he will run for president.
