Communications Minister Ursula Owusu has advised the youth of Ghana to take advantage of the opportunities the internet presents.
She says there are several opportunities available online that the youth can resort to and not just wait for the government to employ them.
The Communications Minister was speaking on Accra-based UTV when she made this known.
“Opportunities abound, so don’t sit and say you want a job with a ministry or a company. People are learning from YouTube and are making use of the opportunities available there. These skills online can help you make some money to supplement what you have or provide you with funds.
Do not waste your data online and use it for things that are wasteful. The opportunities exist, and these skills have ready jobs even outside Ghana. You can work for companies outside and be paid in their currency, so don’t joke; take advantage of the internet,” she said.
