A guy said to be in his late fifties lost his life in a sad accident in Wenchi.
The tragic occurrence happened on Thursday at 2:00 p.m., leaving the sufferer in a terrible position.
According to eyewitnesses, the unnamed man was riding his motorcycle when he was caught between a pickup and a heavy-duty vehicle.
The man was flung from his motorcycle and into the road as a consequence of the accident between the pickup and the truck.
The victim fell beneath the large vehicle, which drove over him and instantly killed him.
The accident scene was horrific, drawing onlookers who were horrified and shocked by the awful spectacle.
The victim’s lifeless corpse was gently removed from under the heavy-duty vehicle when the district police arrived on the scene in a timely manner.
Since then, the body has been sent to the Wenchi Methodist mortuary where it is being identified.
Drivers and road users are admonished to exercise due care and obey all road signs and regulations to help help curb road accidents.
