He was sentenced without parole in 1987. Just five years after being released, he was again flung into prison- this time, accused of assaulting his separated wife.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s report, Tommy Highers was arrested on Sunday and detained in the county jail for assaulting his separated wife. He allegedly accused her of cheating and subsequently assaulted her.
