Tommy Highers was the Michigan man who was wrongfully sentenced to life in prison alongside his brother, Raymond Highers. Digging into the background of the story, Tommy and his brother went to Robert Karey’s house to buy drugs and while they were on their way out, someone badged into Old Man Bob’s room and shot him on the spot which led to his death.
As the brothers ran from the place, an eyewitness saw this and was able to identify them as the culprits until after 26 years, a Facebook tip gave them their freedom with a possible compensation.
Tommy Highers cause of death
Tommy’s death occurred on November 14, 2021, after some years of his release. His family did not give any cause of death neither did an autopsy report say what actually killed him.
As of now, there is no source confirming what actually killed him or saying he was sick.
