The terrifying account of Bridget Otoo’s car almost being stolen on the Tema highway
Bridget Otoo, a media figure and journalist, has described the terrifying incident of how she managed to flee a car-stealing gang on the Accra-Tema highway.
The syndicate, in her account, consisted of three individuals, one of whom was dressed as a mechanic, who were traveling in a black Hyundai Elantra.
If her niece hadn’t been riding along on Sunday, March 19, the presenter claimed to her Twitter followers that she would have crashed her car.
“I just managed to elude a car snatching gang on the highway; I had no idea they were going to steal the vehicle. Perhaps my niece’s presence in the vehicle saved me.
“Black Hyundai Elantra with three males, one dressed as a mechanic, please be careful. I’ll relay the story later,” she tweeted.
The extensive list of illicit actions that routinely take place on the stretch of road is furthered by Bridget Otoo’s experience.
Continuation of her narration is below.
