Rumors of the Paramount Chief’s demise have been refuted by the Takoradi Palace of Osahene Katakyie Busumakura ll.
The Palace of Takoradimanhen, Osahene Katakyie Busumakura, has been alerted to very tragic news spreading on social media saying that he has joined his ancestors, according to a statement released on Monday, October 23.
First of all, the statement noted that the Palace would like to clarify that the report is untrue and should be seen with all the disdain it so richly merits.
“Equally, having spoken to the Takoradimanhene, Osahene Katakyie Busumakura ll this morning, who is hale and hearty, he has confirmed that he has not ordered the closure of any shop or any other business center as is also being circulated,” the statement, signed by the palace’s media assistant, Emmanuel Ohene-Gyan, said.
