Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, founder and senior pastor of Perez Chapel International, has encouraged men to follow Joseph’s example and be patient with unfaithful spouses.
He was preaching at the Perez Dome in Accra during a Sunday service, advising men to learn from the traits of Joseph, the father of Jesus Christ, for whose cause the world celebrates Christmas.
According to Agyin Asare, Joseph had “noble traits” when he opted not to “disgrace” the Virgin Mary despite knowing she was pregnant without “touching” her.
He encouraged men who can’t stand infidelity to let their spouses “go peacefully” without physically assaulting or disgracing them.
He stated that such folks are not noble.
“These days we don’t have too many noble men”, he lamented.
The Pastor also advised men against discussing their Sexual escapades with others saying such men are “cheap”.
“Unfortunately, there are guys telling others the number of women they have slept with. They think it is pride, they are rather cheap. Joseph didn’t say anything about Mary to people. He was a nobleman,” he said.
“I am not saying the women must be indulging in promiscuity, however, if you are a man and your wife did that and you don’t love her anymore, don’t beat her, let her go in peace, ” the Archbishop added.
