Select Caron Shepley was born on 21 June 1967. She was raised in King City, Ontario. Select Caron Shepley was a graduate of King City Secondary School in 1986. She also received education in Physical Education at MacMaster University.
Following her graduation from the university, she co-founded Personal Best, a corporate and personal fitness training company with her husband, Barrie, and friend Sheldon.
Select Caron Shepley was an interesting athlete, yoga teacher and paddle board instructor. Apart from that, she was a spiritual energy researcher, animal communicator and animal cause fundraiser.

On 30 September 2023, Select Caron Shepley died peacefully in her home in Caledon, Ontario surrounded by family. At the time of her death, she was aged 56. Select Caron Shepley died after a five-year battle with cancer.
She left behind her husband Barrie, mother Alice, twin sister Jill (Tim), brother Greg, nephew Harrison, and niece Sarah. There will be a funeral service held in her honour Sunday, October 15th from 1 to 3 pm at the Royal Ambassador Hall in Caledon.
