The parents of Abby, Paula Ann Brindza Sterling and Kyle Moye Sterling Sr., were in Beaumont, Texas, on May 18, 1996. She was voted Miss Westbrook and Homecoming Queen for her class after graduating from West Brook High School in 2014.
Abby is the only four-time all-district athlete from West Brook in team sports and lettered for the Bruins for four seasons at third base. She also participated in games with the Houston-based select squad Hit Away Gold.
She earned a Bachelor of Communications with a Public Relations focus from Louisiana College in 2019.
