In an effort to reduce the stress, aggravation, and time waste related to locating schools for their children, parents are encouraged to actively engage in the school selection process.
The Free Senior High School (SHS) Secretariat’s Deputy National Coordinator, Nana Afrah Sika Mensah, made this suggestion.
In an exclusive interview with Adom News, she stressed the critical role that parental engagement during the selection process has in easing the difficulties that frequently occur when school placements are announced.
According to her, parents may ensure that their children get admitted to the schools of their choice by taking an active role in the admissions process.
A thorough awareness effort is now under progress, according to Madam Afrah Sika Mensah, to ensure that parents are ready for the impending selection process.
She stated that the purpose of this campaign is to enlighten parents about the process of choosing a school, give advice on how to make wise decisions, and give them information about the possibilities. Just before the selection process starts, on September 22nd, the sensitization campaign will come to an end.
This program aims to relieve the stress and anxiety that frequently accompany the school placement process by empowering parents to make knowledgeable decisions about their children’s education.
By cooperating with educational authorities, parents may contribute to the development of an easier and more effective system for securing secondary school places, ensuring that each child’s educational journey gets off to the appropriate start.
