The second family will bear the educational costs of tiny Amina and Suleiman Fuseni, the children of Second Lady Samira Bawumia’s late bodyguard, with the backing of the Chief of Staff, Madam Akosua Frema Osei-Opare.
The declaration was made yesterday during an Islamic intercession for the soul of slain bodyguard Fuseni, who died in a tragic event on the Kumasi-Accra route.
Dignitaries who accompanied the second family included Education Minister Dr. Osei Adutwum, CEO of the National Petroleum Authority Dr. Mustapha Hamid, and Alhaji Ben Abdallah Banda, Chairman of the Ghana Hajj Board and Coordinator of the Zongo and Inner Cities Secretariat under the Office of the President.
Others were the NPP’s General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Koduah, Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, Commissioners of Police Seidu Lansah, the Singlana, Habiba Twumasi, and others.
The twin brother of the deceased, Alhassan Mumuni, led mourners to the Kanda National Mosque for the funeral prayer.
