According to reports, Lance Corporal Calystus Amoah’s wife and unborn child escaped the robbery attempt on a bullion truck in which he was slain.

The late Lance Corporal Calystus Amoah finished his schooling in 2017 after enrolling at the Pwalugu Police Training School, the newspaper said. He was working for the National Protection Unit (NPU) when he passed away, and he did so while stationed in Accra at the main office of the Ghana Police Service.

The Ghana Police Service conducted a manhunt for the four thieves who were responsible for the officer’s grisly murder on Thursday while offering condolences to the grieving family.
However, the arrest of the offenders has not yet been made public by the police.
