Abigail Sarpong, a former drug user, has encouraged young people to refrain from using strong drugs, especially cocaine and marijuana, in order to avoid developing harmful addictions.
The 30-year-old woman claims that drug addiction has dimmed the otherwise promising futures of many young people in the nation.
She made the claim that “you will not have a focused life” because you “will always want to get money to do the drugs” when discussing her experience on Ewiase Mu Nsem on Nhyira Fm.
Because of her addiction, Abigail grew older than she should have and experienced discomfort when she was unable to obtain medicines.
Due to her serious drug addiction, she lost everything, even her dignity.
“It will make you a thief or a liar if you are not one,” she noted. “There is no positive future in taking cocaine and marijuana”.
She said that the addition causes people extra costs, particularly in terms of their health, as well as feelings of guilt and shame.
Abigail overcame her addiction and is now receiving treatment at a rehab facility.
“It’s just one month since I abandoned cocaine and marijuana and I can see massive improvement in my life,” she observed.
She counseled the kids to refrain from doing drugs since they are “just a waste of time” and have no bright future.
