Reclusive Olsen sisters emerge for rare night out

New York City witnessed a rare occurrence with all three Olsen sisters – Ashley, Mary-Kate, and Elizabeth – stepping out for a sisters’ night out on Tuesday. Photographers captured the trio braving the chilly weather as they walked the streets.

Ashley, 37, who secretly welcomed a baby boy named Otto last year, stayed cozy in an oversized olive green parka, baggy jeans, and a scarf, accessorizing with orange-tinted glasses and a large tote. Mary-Kate, also 37, opted for a floor-length dark trench coat and a big purse. Their younger sister, 34, wore an all-black ensemble featuring a jacket, beanie, bell-bottoms, and boots.

It was confirmed by Page Six in August 2023 that Ashley and her husband, Louis Eisner, had welcomed their first child together, with reports suggesting the baby arrived “a few months” earlier.

In December 2022, the Full House star Ashley Olsen and artist Louis Eisner, 35, exchanged vows in a private ceremony. Despite dating since 2017, Ashley didn’t make an appearance on Eisner’s Instagram until July 2021. The couple, known for their privacy, made their red carpet debut two months later.

Meanwhile, Ashley’s sister Mary-Kate, with whom she co-founded the fashion brand The Row, finalized her divorce from French banker Olivier Sarkozy in January 2021 after five years of marriage.

While Ashley and Mary-Kate have stepped back from acting, their younger sister Elizabeth has gained significant fame in recent years. The Marvel star, who married musician Robbie Arnett before the Covid-19 pandemic, spoke highly of her sisters’ influence on her personal life and career in a May 2022 interview.

“I always felt that having older twin sisters was an advantage,” Elizabeth told Harper’s Bazaar at the time. “I felt very clear about how I was going to navigate lots of things because of watching them. I also felt very protected.”

She made sure to note, “There’s something that I’ll never experience of that connection, but I feel lucky to be witness to it. I actually think it’s an amazing feeling – being the younger sibling to twin sisters. If I was spoiled by one, the other wanted to match it. I loved it.”
