President appoints Dr Osei Bonsu Dickson as Deputy National Security Coordinator

Dr. Osei Bonsu Dickson has been appointed as the Deputy National Security Coordinator by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to a reputable source in Accra, Dr. Dickson brings to his new position a plethora of knowledge spanning an exceptional 25-year career in national security operations and legal matters.

According to the source, Dr. Osei Bonsu Dickson held multiple senior roles within the Ministry of National Security previous to his appointment and is a well renowned specialist in national security legislation, cyber, and maritime policy.

“He has served as Chief Legal Advisor, Director for Security Governance, Director for Legal, Director for Intelligence Analysis and Director responsible for Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry of National Security.

Dr. Dickson has served on the Board of the Financial Intelligence Center (FIC), Africa Center for Strategic Studies, Expresso Telecom Group, the Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC), among others”.

According to the source, many in the national security community are excited and pleased with President Akufo-Addo’s pick of the seasoned security operator and lawyer for the job.
