The Central East Regional Police Command has arrested two people who are thought to have been involved in a robbery attack at a stone quarry.
The robbery took place on August 2, 2023, at the Pilot Stone Quarry site in Gomoa Ojobi, where a group of six robbers carried out a raid.
The heist cost the business GHC 200,000.00, and a laptop was taken as well.
In the middle of the pandemonium of gunfire and violence directed at certain Chinese Nationals present at the location, the crooks also attacked the employees and food sellers, stealing their cell phones.
After getting a distress call, the Central East Regional Police Command responded quickly.
They constructed a barrier on the Winneba-Kasoa stretch right away, which enabled the two suspects to be successfully apprehended.
Law enforcement officials found the stolen laptop, multiple mobile phones, and the precise sum of money seized from the quarry firm after examining the suspects’ car.
