If he chooses to heed her plea, she believes that the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year’s singing skills will significantly enhance evangelism.

On Monday, May 8, 2023, she was interviewed on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show.

Piesie Esther lost out on giving Blacko the Artiste of the Year award during the weekend celebration.

She said on the program how much she admired the 21-year-old and praised his dedication during the year in review.

She claimed to be open-minded regarding whoever took home the night’s grand prize as a result. “I had it in mind that whatever was going to happen, I would be okay with it”

Piesie Esther triumphed against other well-known gospel performers such as Joe Mettle, Perez Muzik, Diana Hamilton, Celestine Donkor, and MOG Music to win the VGMA Gospel Artiste of the Year award.

Her popular song “Waye Me Yie” also got her the Best Gospel Song honor.
