The only person who can defeat John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 presidential elections, according to Dr. Bawumia’s assistant Ibrahim Goma in the North East Region, is Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
He asserted that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates need just vote en masse for him to be chosen as the party’s flagbearer in response to this.
In the North East Region, Ibrahim Goma was addressing NPP representatives.
“Mahama is going to be one of the easiest things for Dr. Bawumia to defeat, which is why the NDC can’t get enough of hearing his name,” said the speaker. The NDC won’t tell the truth, but if you ask any of them who are highly knowledgeable about elections, they will tell you that if NPP delegates choose Bawumia to compete against Mahama, Bawumia would win easily.
According to Ibrahim Goma in an interview with Dadi FM, it is also obvious that the NPP delegates would not be supporting and voting only for Dr. Bawumia.
About 100 MPs from his political party have already endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a candidate for the NPP banner.
Some of the MPs are Joseph Osei-Owusu, Mavis Hawa Koomson, and Frank Annoh Dompreh.
Some of the candidates who are anticipated to run for the position of NPP flagbearer include former MP for Mampong Francis Addai-Nimoh, former MP for Mampong Alan Kyerematen Assin, former Food and Agriculture Minister Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, former MP for Central Ken Agyapong, and former Regional Cooperation Minister Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku.
