The GFA announced this Monday morning at a ceremony to officially welcome new Black Stars coach Chris Hughton, who replaced Otto Addo.

It had been reported that Richard Kingson, the Black Stars’ goalkeepers coach, was on the verge of losing his position.

Chris Hughton, the club’s new head coach, is rumored to be bringing changes to the senior national team’s technical team.

As a result, Hughton is thought to be looking to hire a new goalkeepers’ trainer as well as video analysts to help his team prepare for matches.

However, in response to reports at the outdooring ceremony, GFA spokesperson Henry Asante Twum stated that Kingson and the two assistant coaches remained at their posts.
