Addressing supporters following a successful vetting, Safo emphasizes her commitment to the constituency, having served faithfully for nearly three terms.

She expresses appreciation for the encouragement to run for another term and promises not to disappoint in the January 27, 2024 elections.

Despite acknowledging past errors, Safo is confident that people would vote for “continuity and experience.”

Despite problems in 2023, she highlights the people of Dome-Kwabenya’s steadfast support and promises to continue serving them.

Safo is running for Parliament for the fourth time since 2012. On January 27, 2024, Safo will face Dr. Mike Oquaye Jr, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Freezones Authority, and private legal practitioner Sheela Sakyi in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, which has a voter population of 172,000.

In the 2019 parliamentary election, Safo beat Dr. Oquaye by eight votes, receiving 496 votes to Oquaye’s 488.
