Newcastle United throws Back for Christian Atsu Tribute

Christian Atsu, a former Ghanaian winger who played for Newcastle United and Chelsea, was honoured by his former club with a tribute video on their official Twitter account. In the video, the former Black Stars player’s performance was highlighted in a match against West Ham, where he contributed an assist and a goal to Newcastle’s 3-2 victory. Atsu played for Newcastle from 2016 to 2021, appearing in over 100 games for the Magpies.

Sadly, Atsu was declared missing after the earthquake that shook Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6, and was later found dead 12 days later.
