The newly opened fire station in Saboba, according to ACFOI James Nkrah, the regional commander of the Ghana National Fire Service, would ease the pressure on the Yendi fire station, which was previously serving the Saboba district.

He said that this will significantly increase investor confidence in the region because it will reassure them that the fire department will be there to safeguard their investment from the effects of fire once they make an investment there.

On behalf of the Chief Fire Officer, ACFOI Ankrah congratulated the District Assembly and DCE for their tremendous assistance, dedication, and support in establishing the station.

The facility was turned over to the regional commander by the district’s chief executive, George Biingrinni, who also transferred it to the newly appointed district fire officer, ADOI Yussif Issahaku.

The DCE also expressed gratitude to the Regional Commander for finally ensuring the opening of a new fire station in the Saboba district and promised the office his complete support and cooperation.

The district’s DFO, ADOI Yussif Issahaku, thanked the regional commander for having faith in him and promised not to let down the service, him and the good people of Saboba District
